Code of Conduct
Members are expected to conduct themselves at all times with civility and modesty when interacting on annarbor.ucoweb.org.
Civility: It is never acceptable to insult defame or harass any member. If or when disagreements arise it is important to recognize that we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. "Whoever insults a brother or sister is liable to the council," UCO. (Mat 5:22)
Modesty: Posting lewd, sexually explicit or suggestive, pornographic or profane content or media is never acceptable and the member responsible will have his/her account terminated immediately and the offending media deleted. "Now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother or sister who is sexually immoral" (1Co 5:11)
The user name or posted name of an account should reasonably represent the user and should not contain any coarse language, sexual references, gibberish, "Leet" speak, "dudespeak," or any reference to historical, famous, or political figures.
Trolling as defined as "posting inflammatory, rude, repetitive, offensive or gibberish messages designed intentionally to annoy or antagonize members or disrupt the flow of discussion," is completely unacceptable and may result in action being taken against the user's account. Flaming defined as "the act of posting messages that are deliberately hostile or insulting" is also unacceptable and may result in action being taken against the user's account.
